The Hindu Nursery & Primary School celebrated Independence Day with immense pride, patriotism and enthusiasm. The celebration brought together students, teachers and staff to honor the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to commemorate the nation's journey to independence.
The event began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, filling the campus with a sense of unity and national pride. Students actively participated in the celebrations by delivering speeches, reciting patriotic poems, singing inspiring patriotic songs and performing colorful cultural dances that reflected the spirit of India's rich heritage and diversity.
Our young learners came dressed in traditional attire and the colors of the Indian tricolour, adding joy and vibrancy to the celebration. Through storytelling and interactive sessions, teachers introduced the children to the significance of Independence Day, the importance of freedom and the remarkable contributions of great leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh and many other freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to the nation.
The celebration also included engaging activities such as drawing, colouring and craft sessions based on the national flag and other patriotic themes, encouraging creativity while helping children understand the values of unity, respect, responsibility and love for the country.
